DescriptionThe Proclamation of Indonesian Independence (Indonesian: Proklamasi Kemerdekaan Indonesia, or simply Proklamasi) was read at 10.00 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 1945.

This is the 68th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesias independence in 1945. An archipelago that consists of over 17,000 islands, 33 provinces, hundreds of ethnic groups, dozens of dialects and a diverse culture that influences day-to-day life from dance to cuisine

This contest will reward the winners subscription extensions.

Champion 1 wins a 1 year subscription
Champion 2 wins a 6 months subscription
Champion 3 and 4 win three month subscription each.

There will also be Awards issued for good achievements.

Amateur radio in Indonesia consists of several areas call for the division of its territory, which consists of a prefixes:

YB / YE (Enforcement),
YC / YF (Penggalang),
YD / YG (Beginner / Standby).

Call areas of 0-9, where
0 = Jakarta
1 = west Java
2 = central Java
3 = east java
4 = south Sumatra,
5 = Sumatran central, western,
6 = Sumatran north,
7 = Kalimantan
8 = Sulawesi
9 = Bali, NTT, NTB and Irian Jaya

For radio enthusiasts the callsign prefix for Indonesia is 91HS.

Contest communication language should be English, but Indonesian courtesy phrases can be used between Indonesian stations during contest. Call sign identification shall be done in English only.

Score CalculationBand Multiplier = station worked on 10, 15 and 20 meters = score x 3 (valid for all stations in all countries).

Special Indonesian Region Multiplier = Number of worked regions * score

HS stations will be matched via their QTHs to get their proper Indonesian region code.
